I have a bachelor's degree in psychology with honors from Fairleigh Dickenson University (1979) and a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Nova Southeastern University (1988). I have been trained by Hospice to lead grief groups for both adults and children. Furthermore, I have completed over 800 hours in CEU's (continuing education units) attending workshops and conferences including training in Sandplay, Child Centered Play Therapy, Mindfulness in Psychotherapy, Cognitive Therapy for use with children and adults, and grief and loss issues.
I am licensed in Virginia, as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and in Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
